Five Channel Flame Sensor Module
Use this module to detect flame in large range( >120 degree). If you want you robot detect if there is any fire around, this module is just for you. It detects the fire with 5 flame sensors which are arranged with 30 degrees. This module outputs analog signal, which would be more precisely, and also digital signal which would be more easy to use, you can adjust the digital output sensitivety by the on-board potentiometer. The 5 LED indicators are helpful in your debugging, the high-precision resistors (1%) also makes this sensor more precise than other flame sensors.
Specification:
- Voltage:3.3V~9V
- Analog & Digital outputs
- On-board potentiometer and indicators
- 1% resistors to make this module more reliable and precise.
- Detecting range: >120 degree
- Channel Flame Detector for Arduino or Raspberry Pi
- Independent Flame Sensors
Use this module to detect flame over broad range ( >120 degree). It recognizes the fire using five independent sensors arranged with 30 degrees of separation. The module outputs both an analog signal (value varies with the intensity of sensed flame) and also a digital signal well suited to microcomputer applications. The onboard potentiometer can adjust the digital output sensitivity level. The 5 built-in LED indicators will assist in debugging and testing of the system.
Mounting for the sensor board is by three M3 mounting holes for easy installation.
Working Principle
Detects flame band in the range of 700-1100 nm, short-wave near-infrared (SW-NIR) and triggers an output via an electric signal when sensed.
Connection Pinout
Applications
- Robotics (fire sensing and fire fighting)
- Fire alarm
